Helsinki Golf Club Tali

The venue for the Finnair Masters is Helsinki Golf Club, located in a beautiful setting just a couple of miles outside downtown Helsinki. Helsinki Golf Club was founded in 1932, and is therefore the oldest golf club in Finland. The course has hosted a number of big tournaments, including The Finnish Amateur Championship each year.

The course is a classic parkland course with a relatively flat layout. The greens are medium sized and include small slopes which make them demanding. The course demands accurate tee shots and good distance control on approaches. There are no 'bad' holes on the course and each hole has it's own character. The course has always been considered harder than it looks and this has been shown to be true on numerous occasions during tournaments.

The Course will be played in a different order than usually, the opening hole for the tournament is normally the fifth hole on the course.
